Liquefied Propane Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2023

The average liquefied propane import price stood at $449 per ton in September 2023, with an increase of 5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2022 an increase of 12% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $710 per ton. From November 2022 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Finland ($700 per ton), while the price for Russia stood at $437 per ton.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Finland (+0.0%).

Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $717 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Estonia ($620 per ton), while the average price for exports to Cyprus ($404 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
