U.S. Isotopic Separation Machinery Export Price per Ton in May 2022

In May 2022, the isotopic separation machinery price per ton amounted to $2.4K (FOB, US), surging by 7.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2022 an increase of 207% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in May 2022.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($6.6K per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($1.0K per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2022 to May 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+336.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

U.S. Isotopic Separation Machinery Exports

In May 2022, approximately 69 tons of machinery for isotopic separation were exported from the United States; which is down by -54.9% on the month before. Over the period under review, exports recorded a abrupt downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2022 with an increase of 524% m-o-m. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 537 tons. From March 2022 to May 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, isotopic separation machinery exports dropped dramatically to $169K (IndexBox estimates) in May 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2022 with an increase of 65% month-to-month. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $349K, and then reduced sharply in the following month.

U.S. Isotopic Separation Machinery Exports by Country

India (24 tons), Italy (12 tons) and Venezuela (12 tons) were the main destinations of isotopic separation machinery exports from the United States, with a combined 70% share of total exports. Moreover, isotopic separation machinery exports in India exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest exporter, Italy, twofold.
