Green Bean Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2022
The average green bean export price stood at $745 per ton in 2022, waning by -22% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 16%. The export price peaked at $1,060 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($1,845 per ton), while the average price for exports to Georgia ($125 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cyprus (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Green Bean Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average green bean import price amounted to $825 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a deep setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 491%. The import price peaked at $4,633 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($2,494 per ton), while the price for Cyprus ($217 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, overseas shipments of green beans decreased by -3.7% to 1.7K tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, total exports indicated prominent growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +18.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports decreased by -9.1% against 2020 indices.
