Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Ukraine (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $3,276 per ton, with an increase of 40% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, glass fibre voiles export price increased by +69.2% against 2020 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Azerbaijan ($5,696 per ton), while the average price for exports to Moldova ($1,570 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $3,415 per ton in 2022, picking up by 13% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a slight downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 40% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,801 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($5,223 per ton), while the price for China ($1,687 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+4.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Exports in Ukraine
In 2022, glass fibre voiles exports from Ukraine declined remarkably to 429 tons, waning by -81.6% against the previous year. Overall, exports faced a sharp reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 36% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 2.3K tons, and then contracted markedly in the following year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles exports shrank notably to $1.4M in 2022. In general, exports showed a sharp curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 64%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $5.5M, and then reduced notably in the following year.

Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Ukraine
In 2022, supplies from abroad of glass fibre voiles decreased by -14.8% to 473 tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 48% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 603 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports shrank to $1.6M in 2022. In general, total imports indicated a strong increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +16.7% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +58.9% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 29%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $1.7M, and then declined modestly in the following year.
