Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Morocco (CIF) - 2021
The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $4,454 per ton in December 2021, almost unchanged from the previous month. Overall, the import price saw tangible growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2021 an increase of 157% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $8,841 per ton. From August 2021 to December 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was China ($5,090 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($3,061 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Morocco (FOB) - 2022
The average glass fibre voiles export price stood at $7,665 per ton in 2022, jumping by 16% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 72% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $10,154 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cote d'Ivoire ($8,751 per ton), while the average price for exports to Benin stood at $6,618 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mauritania (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Morocco
After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of glass fibre voiles decreased by -19.5% to 1K tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase.
