The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $881 per ton in November 2021, remaining constant against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2021 when the average import price increased by 22% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,124 per ton in February 2021; however, from March 2021 to November 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($5,425 per ton), while the price for the United States ($169 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In November 2021, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $4,380 per ton, surging by 7.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2021 an increase of 21% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $4,982 per ton in December 2020; however, from January 2021 to November 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($6,232 per ton), while the average price for exports to Croatia ($2,169 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Belgium
Glass fibre voiles imports into Belgium reduced to 28K tons in 2022, dropping by -3.9% against the previous year's figure. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.
