Glass Fiber Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average glass fiber export price amounted to $4,493 per ton, surging by 81% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a strong expansion. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Norway ($15,552 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($722 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+20.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Glass Fiber Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022

The average glass fiber import price stood at $2,581 per ton in 2022, growing by 39% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.8%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($11,294 per ton), while the price for Russia ($1,348 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In general, exports showed a dramatic contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 13%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 14K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, glass fiber exports declined markedly to $13M in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a sharp descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 6.9% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $37M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
