Frozen Whole Fish Price in Estonia (FOB) - 2023
The average frozen whole fish export price stood at $1,031 per ton in September 2023, picking up by 20% against the previous month. Over the period from September 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3%. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 25% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $1,122 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to September 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Norway ($5,156 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($444 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Lithuania (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
