The average fishing rods import price stood at $59,306 per ton in 2022, waning by -4.6% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a strong expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +11.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, fishing rods import price increased by +17.9% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 61%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $62,155 per ton in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hong Kong SAR (+11.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $70,134 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets.
