Ferro-Silico-Manganese Price in Vietnam (FOB) - 2022
The average ferro-silico-manganese export price stood at $970 per ton in 2022, which is down by -3.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.2%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 58%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $1,182 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Pakistan ($992 per ton), while the average price for exports to Japan ($964 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Pakistan (+5.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average ferro-silico-manganese import price amounted to $1,017 per ton, approximately reflecting the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 39%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,539 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (-1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
