In June 2023, the average ester gums export price amounted to $3,120 per ton, waning by -17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a mild expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, ester gums export price decreased by -20.1% against March 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 16% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,903 per ton. From April 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 15% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $3,070 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 37%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
