Dry Bean Price in Norway (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average dry bean import price amounted to $2,308 per ton, almost unchanged from the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average import price increased by 17%. The import price peaked at $2,583 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was New Zealand ($8,153 per ton), while the price for Finland ($1,062 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average dry bean export price stood at $9,236 per ton in 2022, increasing by 29% against the previous year.
