In September 2022, the chemical elements doped for use in electronics, in the form of discs, wafers or similar forms, chemical compounds doped for use in electronics price amounted to $89.3 per kg (FOB, China), shrinking by -1.5% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2022 to September 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.2%. From January 2022 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to India (+9.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. From January 2022 to September 2022, the biggest increases were in Thailand (with a CAGR of +11.5%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

In value terms, Vietnam ($134M), Thailand ($129M) and Malaysia ($108M) constituted the largest markets for chemical elements doped for use in electronics, in the form of discs, wafers or similar forms, chemical compounds doped for use in electronics exported from China worldwide, with a combined 59% share of total exports.

Thailand, with a CAGR of +14.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
