Cereals; Oats, Seeds Price in Slovakia (FOB) - 2022

The average cereals; oats, seeds export price stood at $566 per ton in 2022, which is down by -9.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate temperate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 46% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $622 per ton, and then declined in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($1,164 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($190 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Czech Republic (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (+11.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
