In 2022, shipments abroad of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the third consecutive year after four years of growth. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a slight decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports contracted slightly to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China was the key exporter of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Eastern Asia, with the volume of exports reaching X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. South Korea (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Japan (X tons). All these countries together took approx. X% share of total exports. Total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2012 indices.
