In general, exports, however, posted a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, wood box and cable drum exports shrank significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped notably in the following year.

In 2022, Belarus (X units) and Moldova (X units) were the key exporters of wood boxes, crates and cable drums in the CIS, together making up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Russia (X units), comprising an X% share of total exports.
